Merl Van Zante

JLM Aviation Support, Inc.’s President, Merl, has over thirty years of professional experience in corporate aviation. He has played a critical role in a wide range of duties typical of any flight department, including flight operations, trip planning, and training. Merl’s experience also covers hiring, aircraft acquisition, and budget preparation.

Under Merl’s leadership, JLM has built a diverse client base, varied in size and operation complexity, which contributes significantly to the industry knowledge that JLM brings to each new client.

Creighton Ring

Creighton is a Citation Sovereign captain in the JLM Aviation Support pilot-service area of operation. He is a graduate of the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor of Science in general studies and an aeronautical emphasis. Creighton has over 8,500 hours of flight experience and holds ATP and CFI certificates with type ratings in the Citation Sovereign and EXCEL.

Creighton has previous experience as a line captain and chief pilot for highly successful part-135 and -91 operations respectively. He also has extensive experience as a King Air 90 captain. In addition, Creighton has completed the Aspen special approach procedures training provided by Flight Safety and the international procedures course provided by Scott IPC.

A Los Angeles resident, Creighton provides pilot services to the southern California basin.
