Perhaps the most challenging aspect of the transition to a new aircraft is learning to operate today's highly sophisticated, automated cockpits. JLM will provide you with hands-on training in operating avionic systems such as the Honeywell Integrated Avionics Suite found in the Citation Sovereign.

If you are transitioning from the propeller world to jet operations in the Citation Mustang, you are facing a whole new set of challenges. Terms such as V1, V2, second-segment climb, RVSM, and a host of others, combined with the challenge of operating at speeds and altitudes three times faster and four times higher than those to which you are accustomed can stretch you to the limit.

JLM Aviation Support has thousands of hours and years of operational experience in jet aircraft. Our goal is to assist you in making the transition to your Citation Mustang a safe, efficient, and enjoyable experience. We will work with you in meeting your insurance requirements and the “supervised operational experience” that may be required as outlined in FAR 61.63.

JLM Aviation will make sure you are comfortable, confident, and possess the necessary decision-making tools to operate your Citation Mustang in a safe manner.
We will be sure you are familiar with the Aircraft Flight Manual, and then take you beyond the scope of book numbers to ensure you have a well-rounded knowledge of operational items such as take-off and landing considerations, high-altitude radar usage, winter operations, and more.
Finally, we’ll help you develop a set of Standard Operating Procedures to make the operation of your aircraft a safe and fun experience.
